Patricia L. Houk, 62, of Mt. Hope Rd., Ellwood City died on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Born July 30, 1949 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Blaine N. and Nancy Markle Houk.
Patricia loved the Lord, she was a member of the Clifton Flats Alliance Church in New Castle. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1967 and was employed at Lark Enterprises for 25 years. She enjoyed reading, puzzles and music.
Survivors include three sisters – her twin, Dorothy Ann Houk of Seattle, WA, Nancy “Becky” Mondi of Lawrence, KS, Polly (John) McGrady of Ellwood City; three brothers – James G. (Nancy) Houk and William M. (Patty) Houk, both of New Castle, and Thomas S. Houk of Ellwood City; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Private funeral services will be held on Friday, July 6 at the Marshall Funeral Home, 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City.
Interment will follow in Harmony Baptist Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Ellwood City Library or the City Rescue Mission.

I’m so sorry to hear of Pattys passing. Dad still receives the Ledger and I just saw the notice today. I didn’t realize she was sick. May she rest in peace in the arms of the Lord. She was always such a sweet child, back in the old neighborhood. My prayers go out to her family. God Bless you.
