Harry A. Milliken, 65, of Short St., Wampum (New Beaver Boro) died on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at his residence. Although in ill health, his death was unexpected.
Born April 16, 1947 in New Castle, he was the son of the late Arthur and Helen Delin Milliken. He was married for 15 years to Phyllis Hairhoger Milliken, who survives.
Harry was a retired truck driver and co owner of Valley Diesel in New Castle. He was a 32nd Degree Free and Accepted Mason in Enon Valley and New Castle Consistory. He was an avid football fan, especially a Pitt, Penn State, and Steeler fan.
In addition to his wife, Phyllis, survivors include two sons, Clint (Shannon) Milliken and Evan (Carrie) Milliken, both of New Castle; step-daughter, Dana (Steve) Tallat of Pittsburgh; brother, Russell (Brenda) Milliken of Mt. Jackson; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandmother, Nellie Delin, stepdaughter, Kendra A. Keith on December 12, 2010, and a grandson, Alexander.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday December 11, 2012 from 6-9 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home 341 Main Street Wampum. A Masonic Service will be held at 7 pm.
Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:00 am with Rev. Eric Board of the First Baptist Church officiating.
Interment will follow in Clinton Cemetery.
