Ralph G. McAnlis, 87, of Dove Lane, Edinburg died unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at his residence.
Born October 4, 1925 in New Galilee, he was the son of the late W.S.and Mae Jenkins McAnlis. He was married to the late Susan Pardick McAnlis.
Ralph was a self employed dairy and beef farmer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, and playing cards. His most cherished time was spent with his family and friends.
Survivors include a stepdaughter, Linda DeVite of Edinburg; two step grandsons; two sisters, Dorothy English of Maryland, Margie (Clair) Miller of Portersville; two brothers, Wayne (Lois) McAnlis of New Beaver Boro, Lee (Bettie) McAnlis of Arizona; a special friend, Edith McClain, and a number of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Paul, Robert, and Dale McAnlis; three sisters, Marie Morrow, Lilly Mae McAnlis and Roberta McAnlis.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday January 12 from 2-4 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home 341 Main Street Wampum.
Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, January 13 at 2:00 pm with his nephew, Rev. John McAnlis officiating. Interment will follow in the Union Reformed Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
