David J. Houk, 66

David J. Houk, 66, of Old Rt 18, Wampum (New Beaver Boro) died on  Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at  UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh following a three month illness.

Born December 9, 1946 in New Castle, he was the son of the late Keith H. and Erma Parker Houk.  He was married for 42 years to Judy Vansovich Houk, who survives.

David worked as a craneman for over 40 years at the Ellwood City Forge.  He served in the Army during the Vietnam War.

In addition to his wife, Judy, survivors include a son, Jason Houk of Chewton; daughter, Stacey (Jesse) Coleman of New Galilee; twin sister, Diana Dunstan of Ellwood City; brother, Keith C. Houk of Chewton; and three grandsons, Jesse and Cody Coleman and Jason Houk Jr.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Betty L. Aromatorio.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, February 18 at Grandview Cemetery in Beaver Falls.  Pastor Dick Allen will officiate.  Military rites will be offered by the Veterans Honor Guard.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Marshall Funeral Home, Wampum.
