Thelma J. “Jean” Blair, 86

Thelma J. “Jean” Blair, 86, of Wurtemburg, PA died on Sunday, February 10, 2013 at the VNA Hospice Center in Butler following an extended illness.

Born February 9, 1927 in Ellwood City, PA,  she was the daughter of the late Archie and Ruth Cowan Nagel .

She was married on June 6, 1950 to the late Gail  Blair who passed away June 22, 1993.

Jean was a graduate of Lincoln High School.  She was formerly employed as a clerk at the former A&P Store in Ellwood City.  She was a member of the Wurtemburg Methodist Church for over 50 years and also attended the Keys to the Kingdom Church.  Her most cherished time was spent with her grandchildren and  great granddaughter.

Survivors include a daughter, Dorothy Grala, with whom she resided; son, Robert (Judi) Blair of Perry Twp; sister in law, Donna  Nagel of Wampum;  brother,  Archie (Francis) Nagel of San Antonio, FL; two grandchildren,  Adam (Christie) Blair, Christy (Jacob) Trautman; and one great-granddaughter, Lacey Blair.

She was preceded in death by three sisters,  Margaret Fabian Butler, Marjorie Main, and Esther Howell and a brother Donald Nagel.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday February 12, 2013 from 4:00 pm until the time of the funeral service at 7:00 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home, 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City.

Pastor Karl E. Moore of Keys to The Kingdom Church will officiate.

Interment will follow in Wurtemburg Cemetery.
