Jessica R. Vega Marweg, 36

Jessica R. Vega Marweg, 36, of State Rt. 288, Ellwood City (Franklin Twp.) died unexpectedly on  Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at her residence.

Born October 16, 1976 in New York City, she was the daughter of Jose and Alma Valentin Vega, both of Florida.  She was married for 16 years  to Jeff  Marweg, who survives.

Jessica was a loving and devoted wife and mother.  She attended St. Gregory’s Church in Zelienople.  She also worked in the office of the Diamond Dance Adedemy.

In addition to her husband, Jeff, and parents, survivors include three children, Kaitlyn, Kyle and Lorelai Marweg, all at home; a sister,  Elizabeth Vega of Florida; and a brother, Eric Vega of San Francisco, California.

Visiting hours will be held on  Saturday May 25 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home. 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City.

Blessing Services will be held at the funeral home on Sunday at 2 pm with Rev. Father Larry Smith officiating.

  1. There are no words to express our overwhelming sadness at the passing of Jessica, a wonderful daughter, sister, wife and mother and a sweet and loving niece. To Jeff, Kaytlin, Kyle and Lorelai, and Alma, Joe, Liz and Eric – Remember Jessica as she lived and loved. It will bring a smile to your face and peace in your heart. We are here for you, whatever you may need. Our hearts are broken but God will help us carry on.
