Judith Menk Morrison, 64

Judith  Menk Morrison, 64, of  Wampum and formerly of Boynton Beach, Florida died unexpectedly on  Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at the Ellwood City Hospital.

Born December 17, 1948 in West New York, New Jersey,  she was the daughter of Fred D. Menk of Boynton Beach and the late Lillian Way Menk.

She was married for 42 years to Louis C. Morrison as they were wed on September 4, 1970.  He survives

Judy was a secretary for the Bethesda Memorial Hospital and the Boulevard Manor in Boynton Beach.  She was also the secretary for the Don Carter Bowling Center in Lake Worth, Florida.  She enjoyed traveling and bowling.  Her most precious time was with spent with her family and granddaughter.

In addition to her husband, Lou and father, Fred, survivors include a daughter,Tanya Lynn Morrison of Kunkletown, PA; three sisters, Kathy (James) Sullivan of Murphy, North Carolina, Wendy (Les) Sarkinen of Loxahatchee, Florida, Laurie (Gail) Morrison of Harrison, Arkansas; and a granddaughter, Gianna Russo.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

Visiting hours will be held on  Tuesday May 28 from 5 until the time of the Blessing Service at  7 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home 341 Main Street Wampum.

  2. Judy “always” had a special “light” about her…..she could make you laugh and just feel good in her presence! – I will forever miss her! – All my love & prayers go out to my family at this time.   5. I am still in the state of disbelief….we had our differences, as most sisters do, but the best thing is we ALWAYS worked them out. I am so speechless at this time but I will tell you this is a heck of a way to resign from a game of WORDS!!!!!! HA!! You will be soooo terribly missed by me. I love you so very much Jude

  9. I will miss your sometimes silly, sometimes beautiful, but always loving online forwards. I will miss your thoughtful remembrances when something goes wrong in my life. But most of all I will miss your sweet face and your happy smile. You made the world a a better place just by being in it. So glad your little grand-daughter got to know you.
