Raymond D. Jackson, 54

Raymond D. Jackson, 54, of Bellevue, PA formerly of Wampum died on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at the Allegheny General Hospital following a brief illness.

Born September 21, 1958 in Ellwood City, he was the son of Raymond C. and Maryann Zultowski Jackson of Wampum.

Raymond graduated in 1977 from Lawrence County Vocational Technical School. He was Catholic by faith, attending the Church of the Assumption in Bellevue. He was a warm, loving, friendly, likable and caring person who loved the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, music and people. His most cherished time was spent with his family.

In addition to his parents, Ray and Maryann, survivors include three sisters, Jeanne Pittavino of Cranberry Twp., Janet (John) Emig of Parker, Colorado, Peggy (Stephen) Needler of Fort Worth, Texas; brother, Thomas E. Jackson of Wampum; nieces and nephews, Gregory (Nico) Pittavino, Anthony and Michael Pittavino, Zachary, Brittany and Rebecca Needler; any many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by a nephew, Nathan Needler, and a brother in law, Stanley M. Pittavino.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday June 23, 2013 from 2-4 and 6- 8 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home 341 Main Street Wampum. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am on Monday at the Holy Redeemer Church in Ellwood City. Entombment will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
