Margaret L. (Hogue) Pelloni, 90

Margaret L. (Hogue) Pelloni, 90 of King, North Carolina (formerly of Ellwood City) passed away on Friday, July 5, 2013.

Born December 23, 1922 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late George Grant and Jessie (Cunningham) Hogue. She was married in 1947 to the late E. Alfred Haddock, deceased in 1959 and married in 1963 to the late Anthony J. Pelloni, deceased in 1987. She was a January 1941 graduate of Lincoln High School. Margaret worked at the JC Penney Co, GC Murphy Co, Ellwood Products in Frisco, in the Office at U.S. Steel and was employed by the Ellwood City Police Dept. She was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church on Fountain Ave. where she served as a Secretary, and a Deaconess. She was also a member of the JC Meyer Sunday school class, and Deborah Circle and a former Sunday School teacher. Margaret also served the community several years working the polls during elections. She served Meals on Wheels for 25 years, and served as treasurer for Ellwood City Women’s Club.

Survivors include a brother, Donald Hogue (Marietta GA); three daughters, Cheryl (Wayne) Geras of King NC, Cathy (Richard) Rizor of Rockledge FL, Candace (Steve) Curtis of Ormond Beach FL; four sons, John Pelloni of Ellwood City PA, Richard Pelloni of Industry PA, Anthony Pelloni of La Mesa CA, Stanley (Diane) Haddock of Yorba Linda CA; 24 grandchildren; Tony Joe and Sammy Pelloni, Richard, Mark, and Michael Pelloni, Billy Joe, Troy, and Steven Pelloni, Jason and Jordan Geras, Jesslyn Geras McCutcheon, Lindel, Heather and Alex Daugherty, Amy Rizor, Anissa Bernal, Shari, Dustin, Marco, and Joseph Pelloni, Connor and Trevor Haddock, James Curtis, Krista Curtis Shaw; 26 great grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob, Ashely and Brook Pelloni, Maxwell, Ethan and Mia Pelloni, Dante, Rocco and Bella Pelloni, Anthony, Lauren and Zachary Pelloni, Jasmine Pelloni,

Sophia Geras, Isabella, Selah and Abigail McCutcheon, Allison, Addison and Aaron Bernal, Cole Rigo, Addison Daugherty, Ian Daugherty, Asia and Matthew Pelloni, Kate Shaw; and one great great grandchild, Riley Bernal.

In addition to her parents and husbands she was preceded in death by a son, William J. Pelloni; two brothers, McClelland and Thomas Hogue; daughter in law, Margie Pelloni; and one grandchild, Alfred Haddock.

Family and friends will be received on Friday July 12 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Marshall Funeral Home, 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City.
Funeral Services will be held at the First Baptist Church on Saturday at 10 a.m. with Rev. Wesley Evans officiating. Internment will follow at Sylvania Hills Mausoleum in New Brighton.

    You have my deepest sympathy on your mother’s passing. She was always such a friendly and welcomed us into your home as though we lived there. I am sure she walking with God and angels on the streets of heaven watching over you all. Keep her in your hearts and she will be with you always. Rest In Peace Mrs. Pelloni you will surely be missed but always loved.

    I have such fond memories of your mother. She was a classy woman who brought such joy to all. You all made our neighborhood so much nicer when you united your families.
