LaMoine B. “Boone” Hartzell, 82, of Hilltop Dr. Ellwood City (Franklin Twp) died on Monday, August 5, 2013 as a result of an automobile accident in Shenango Twp.
Born April 21, 1931 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Harvey LaMoine and Fannie M. Dobson Hartzell. He was married to Lena “Pudgie” LeViere Hartzell who passed away on March 1992.
Boone retired from Pettler Company in Beaver Falls where he was a machine operator. Boone was a member of the First Church of God. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Boone was an avid photographer and videographer.
Survivors include five daughters, Wendy (Dale) Pritchard of South Beaver Twp., Cheri (Thomas) Coulter and Kim (Cliff) Kaufman, both of Franklin Twp., Diana “Dee” (Merrill) Fish of North Carolina, Lami (Fred) Ziegler of North Sewickley; twelve grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
Per Boone’s wishes, no visitation will be held. A private family service took place in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Butler. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Marshall Funeral Home, Ellwood City.
