Robert Petrucci, 78, of Franklin Ave., Ellwood City passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at the Butler Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness.
Born January 13, 1936 in Ellwood City,he was the son of the late James and Lucy Issacco Petrucci .
He was married for 47 years to Stella “Dee Dee” Prestopine Petrucci as they were married July 22, 1967.
Bob formerly worked at National Plumbing. He then worked for 23 years and retired from Babcock and Wilcox. He recently worked part time at the Holiday Inn. Bob graduated from Lincoln High School in 1953. He was Catholic by faith. Bob enjoyed bowling, watching NASCAR, and was an avid follower of Lincoln High School sports.
Survivors include his wife, Stella, sister in law, Norma Jean (Dale) Saam; three brother in laws, Charles, Tom, and Angelo Prestopine; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Josephine Miller, and his twin brother in infancy, Alexander Robert Petrucci.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday April 17 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City. A Blessing Service will be held on Friday at 11 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery.
