Charles J. Krueger, 82

Charles J. Krueger, 82, of Goebel Lane, Wampum died Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at the Beaver Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness.

Born August 22, 1931 in New Castle, he was the son of the late Charles J. Krueger Sr. and Sarah Williams Krueger Binger. He was married on June 27, 1953 to Suzanne Goebel Krueger, who survives.

Charles worked at Shaw Perkins in West Pittsburg and then retired from Medusa Cement Co in 1996. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking, and taking long rides through the country. His most cherished time was spent with his grandsons and great grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Suzanne, survivors include two daughters, Pamela (John) Hupp of Chippewa, Lori A. Krueger of Wampum; brother, William (Mary A.) Krueger of Wampum; three grandsons, Nathan Hupp and fiancé Jessica Riley of Enon Valley, Jeremy Hupp of Chippewa, Sean Hupp and his fiancé, Ivy Snyder of Chippewa; five great grandchildren, Emma, Zachery and Evan Hupp Jeremy Kincade and Jude Pfister; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and step father, Albert Binger.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday May 16 from 5-8 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home 341 Main Street Wampum. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 8 pm.

A private interment will follow in Harmony Baptist Cemetery.
