Aline M. McCready, 91

Aline M. McCready, 91, of Wampum Mt. Air Rd, New Galilee went to be in the presence of her Lord Wednesday, August 27, 2014 from her home.

Born April 12, 1923 in Harlansburg,she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Rosalie Parsons McFarland. She was married for 68 years to C. Pat McCready Sr., who survives at home.

Aline graduated from Eastbook High School. She was a member of Hoover Heights Christian and Missionary Alliance Church. Aline was a homemaker and accomplished cook, baker and calligrapher.

Survivors include six children, Joyce (Dave) Foster, C. Pat (Vivian) McCready Jr, Ben (Sara) McCready, Don (Sandy) McCready Rosalie (Larry) Eckman, Ruth (Bob) Anderson; 23 grandchildren; and 32 great grandchildren.

The last of her family, she was preceded in death by five sisters, Thelma Cornman, Mildred Rigby, Charlotte Forsythe, Rosalie Kalajainen, Betty Lou McFarland; two brothers, Floyd and Benjamin McFarland; and a granddaughter, Suzanne McCready.

Visiting hours will be held Friday August 29 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home 341 Main Street Wampum.

Funeral Services will be held at the Park Alliance Church, 701 Jefferson Ave. Ellwood City on Saturday at 11 am. Her pastor, Rev. Larry F. Llewellyn and her grandson, Rev. John P. McCready will officiate. Interment will follow in the Reformed Presbyterian Cemetery in New Galilee.
