Marianne P. Fabich, 67, of Chewton passed away Saturday, June 27, 2015 at her residence following a short illness.
Born October 1, 1947 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late John and Dorothy J. Krosovic Capp. She was married for 49 years to George A. Fabich Jr. who survives.
Marianne graduated from Lincoln High School in 1965. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Church in Ellwood City. She retired from Heraeus Electro-Nite Co where she was the inventory control specialist. She was an avid bowler and was involved in a leadership role with the Beaver Valley Woman’s Bowling Association. Her family was her life. She cherished time spent with her children and grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, George, survivors include two sons, Michael (Michelle) Fabich of Chewton, Ron (Lauren) Fabich of Erie; daughter, Paula (Eric) Detar of Branchport, New York; sister, Melinda (Phillip) Fabich of Shenago Twp.; brother, John A. (Sharon) Capp of Ross Twp; and six grandchildren, Anna and Noah Detar, Haley, Colin and Asher Fabich, and Christin Boughter.
She was preceded in death by her father, John on February 8, 2011 and her mother, Dorothy on May 27, 2015.
Visiting hours will be held Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home 341 Main Street Wampum.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 10 am at the Holy Redeemer Church in Ellwood City. Interment will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
