  18. Bob and Bobby, We are so sad to have received the news of Barb’s passing. We are on an island in North Carolina and I know how much she loved the ocean. We’ve been thinking about her all day. In fact we first learned of her love of the beach when she “commissioned” Hayden at one of our open studios many years ago to paint a beach scene for her. He was so proud when she bought it for a quarter! Both you and Barb have gone to great lengths to welcome us to the community and help us make Wampum our home. Barb has and will always hold a special place in our hearts. She will be terribly missed. We regret that we will not be in town for her service but will be there in our hearts.

  19. Dear Bob and Bobby,

Our hearts break for both of you through this difficult time. Barbie was one of the kindest and most generous spirits I have ever had the honor to know. Her kindness toward my Dad at the time of my Mom’s passing was one of the greatest blessings I have ever been given. I will miss her deeply and although words are never adequate at times such as this, my family will keep both of you in our prayers and hope that somehow your pain will ease over time. We are all so sorry for your loss.

    Much love,
Dlynn, Mike, and Rachel Williams and Clair Armstrong
