Gary R. Foreman, 65

foreman2Gary R. Foreman, 65, of Panella Way, Ellwood City (Wayne Twp.) passed away unexpectedly Friday, August 12, 2016 at the Ellwood City Hospital.

Born August 27, 1950 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Russell F. Foreman and Antoinette Rossi Foreman of Ellwood City.  He was married to Debra J. Spiker Foreman who survives.

Gary retired from the Franklin Twp. Municipal Authority where he served as the Supervisor of the Sewer Department. He was affiliated with the Riverview Church. He was active with the Boy Scouts, serving as a Troop Leader Scoutmaster for Troop 854 and the Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 870. Gary loved to hunt, fish and camp.

In addition to his wife, Debbie, and mother, Antoinette, survivors include four sons, Gary R. (Jenny) Foreman II of Ellwood City, Bryce W. (Berea S.) Foreman of New Wilmington, Jared A. Foreman of Ellwood City, Drew S. (Cailin) Foreman of Bridgeville; three step daughters, Amanda Streckeisen of Florida, Sarah (Zak) Arkwright of Beaver Falls, Julie Streckeisen of Fombell; two sisters, Lisa (Ron) White of New Castle, Susan (Paul) Morganstern of West Middlesex; his first wife, Cheri Myers Foreman of Wampum; and six grandchildren, Adam, Kalee, Brandy, Courtney, Austin, and Harper Forman.

He was preceded in death by his father, Russell, and a brother, Russell Foreman II.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday August 15, 2016 from 4 to 8 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City.  Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11:00 am with Rev. S.B. Allen of the Riverview Church officiating.   Interment will be in Slippery Rock Church Cemetery.

  6. My condolences to the family of Gary Foreman. I just made copies of an old Bulletin from The Slippery Rock church dated June 29th., 1961. It’s from the services after Vacation Bible school. I’ve had this in my Bible for 55 years. A keepsake!
