cragle, markMark H. Cragle, 59, of S. Hazen Ave., Ellwood City passed away unexpectedly Friday, August 26, 2016.

Born April 21, 1957 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Eugene “Dagwood” and Ester “Mazie” Greenwood Cragle.

Mark was a self employed Auto Mechanic who loved his job. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially camping and fishing.

Survivors include his companion of 25 years, Patty Nye, a son, Kevin M. Cragle at home; step children, Shana and Joseph Nye, both of Ellwood City; granddaughters, Summer, Coral, and Elliana; uncles, Clyde and Charles Greenwood; a special nephew, Caleb Cragle; and three nieces.

The last of his generation he was preceded in death by four brothers, James, Michael, David and Gary Cragle.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday August 30 from 3 pm until the time of the funeral service at 6 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home. 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City. Rev. Ethan Harrington of the Discovery Christian Church will officiate.  Interment will follow in Slippery Rock Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

  6. Mark was loved by so many people with his gentle and soft spoken ways. He was good to my family Patty and he loved us too. I hope our friend is in a better place and with his family. We are sorry we cannot be there but Mark will always be in our hearts. Condolences to you and your family and a special hug to Kevin from our family.

  11. Mark was a good life long friend and will be sadly missed. Sorry I couldn’t make the viewing, however my thoughts and prayers are with you Patty and your entire family. May the Peace and Comfort of Jesus be with All of You in this time of loss.

  12. I’m so sorry to hear of this sad news, and despite my efforts, sincerely regret not being able to be there with friends and family today. My heart goes out to his son Kevin, whom he was so proud of from day 1, as well as Patty, Shana and Joey.
