Randy “OB” O’Brien, 56, of Hazel Ave., Ellwood City died Thursday, October 27, 2016 at his residence.
Born November 27, 1959 in Beaver Falls, he was the son of the late Ronald O’Brien who passed away in 2015 and Susan Butler O’Brien of Beaver Falls .
Randy graduated from Beaver Falls High School in 1977. He worked at the Ellwood City Forge until 2015. He was a member of Holy Redeemer Parish. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson. Randy played on a number of bocce leagues at the IMBS Club in Koppel where he was a social member. His most cherished time was spent with family and friends.
In addition to his mother, Susan, survivors include a son, Alex O’Brien of Ellwood City; sister, Debbie (Gary) Gatnarek of Harmony; niece and nephew, Amy and Joel Gatnarek; his companion, Kathleen McCall of Ellwood City and step children, Ashley Jones of Irvin, CA and Eric McCall of Orlando, Florida.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday October 30 from 1 pm until the time of the blessing service at 6 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City. Rev. Father Mark Thomas will officiate the services.
Memorial Contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or Catholic Hospice.

OB you were definitely one of the good guys! You put on this bad ass front but you were so compassionate and caring, and always put women first!
