Russell H Ehrenberg, 87, of Wampum died on Saturday, October 15, at the Jameson Memorial Hospital following a short illness.
Born August 23, 1929 in Beaver Falls, PA, he was raised by his adoptive parents, the late August and Fannie Barr Ehrenberg.
He was married 65 years to Kathryn James Ehrenberg, she survives.
Russ retired from the New Castle Refractories after 19 years of service. He was affiliated with the Wampum Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed auto repair and maintenance work. He also enjoyed country music, and visiting with family, friends and passerby’s from his home in Wampum.
Also surviving are a son, Russell (Nancy) Ehrenberg Jr. of Pulaski; two daughters, Sherrie (Joseph) LaPatka and Brenda (Frank) Ferrucci both of Wampum; half brother, James Henderson of Beaver Falls; 10 grandchildren; 2 great grandsons.
Also preceding him in death was a half brother and sister.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday October 18, from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 at the Marshall Funeral Home, 341 Main Street Wampum.
Funeral Services will be held at the Marshall Funeral Home, on Wednesday, October 19, at 11am with Rev. Dr. William R. McGary officiating.
Interment will follow in the Little Beaver Cemetery.
