Ronald B. Anderson, 55

andersonRonald B. “Ronnie” Anderson, 55, of New Beaver Boro passed away unexpectedly Thursday evening, December 29, 2016 at West Penn Hospital.

Born March 20, 1961 in Punta Gorda, Florida, he was the son of the late Alan L. and Doris McConnell Anderson Sr. He was married for 35 years to Sue Ellen Grinnen Anderson who survives.

Ronnie graduated from the Lawrence County VO Tech in 1979. He worked for 34 years as a truck driver for Wampum Hardware. He also partnered with his wife in Home Exterior, a family craft business. Ronnie was a hard worker whose greatest pleasure in life was his family.

In addition to his wife, Sue Ellen, survivors include two sons, Justin Anderson and his wife, Hailey, Jordan Anderson and his girl friend, Amanda Demmler; his mother in law, Peg Grinnen, all of New Beaver Boro; four brothers, Alan L. Anderson Jr. of Atlanta, Georgia, William (Alicia) Anderson of Hamilton, Ontario Canada, Fred (Janice) Anderson and Robert (Tammy) Anderson, all of New Castle; and two grandchildren, Chloe and Blake.

He was preceded in death by his parents

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday January 1, 2017 from 3-7 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home 341 Main Street Wampum. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 11 am. Ronnie’s cousins, Rev. Eugene and Rev. Kevin McConnell will officiate the services. Interment will follow in Newport Cemetery.

  1. Sue, Justin & Jordan…….Ron was a very special friend to Bob and I and we are going to really miss him…..We have some great memories of all the craft shows and the many people we have met along the way, but Ron stands out as one of the best…..much love to you all
