Gloria J. Selby, 65

Gloria J. Selby, 65, of Chippewa passed away peacefully Sunday, February 5, 2017 at the Heritage Valley – Beaver Hospital following a short illness.

Born August 6, 1951 in Washington, PA. She was married for 18 years to Richard E. Selby who survives.

Gloria owned and operated Gloria’s Wallpaper and Painting Co. for many years. She had been formerly employed at the 19th Hole in Chippewa and Pier 19 in Bridgewater. Gloria was a member of the Lady’s Auxiliary in the Highland Vets. She actively collected and donated anonymously to underprivileged children. She was kind and generous to all who her knew her.

In addition to her husband, Rick, survivors include a son, Patrick (Karlie) Mulroy of Pittsburgh; a daughter, Tobbie Krantz of Manchester, New Hampshire; stepparents, Delbert “Red” Byers and Marion Byers; four grandchildren, Emma, Tatum, Eliot, and Luke Krantz; one sister, Aileen Radcliff; two step brothers, Sam Brenlinger and Jim Brenlinger; brothers-in-law, George Selby, and Robert (Patti) Selby; and many loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son, Ricky Mulroy, a half brother, Jim Byers, and a sister, Terri Mustard.

A private memorial service will be held. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Marshall Funeral Home, Wampum. Online condolences may be sent to marshallsfh.com.

    We are so sorry for your loss. Gloria was a sweetheart. She was kind, funny and all around great person. We haven’t seen you for years but saw you frequently at Highland VFW. We will keep you and your family in our prayers.

  3. I am so sorry for your loss. I always liked Glo, she was a very nice person who had a very good heart. She is resting in peace now with her son, and the many friends who have passed before her. Sadly, there are too many to name, except Barb. I know they are up to their old tricks again! Lol! Both Glo and Ricky are both watching over all of you. I will never forget all the great times we had! I miss the “old” days! Fly high Glo!
