Mark Romanoski, 46, of 3rd Ave., Koppel passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at the Good Samaritan Hospice in Beaver following a courageous two year battle with cancer.
Born January 23, 1971 in New Brighton, he was the son of the late Darl L. Romanoski and Jill Thellman Romanoski with whom he resided.
Mark formerly worked at the Rowan Rd. Driving Range in Cranberry. He was a member of the Koppel United Methodist Church and graduated from Blackhawk High School in 1989. Mark was a member of the IMBS Club in Koppel where he enjoyed playing on the pool team and playing bocce. He was an avid Steeler Fan. Tina Leslie said it best: “Mark will be reunited with his Dad and they will be doing the “Curly Shuffle”.
In addition to his mother, Jill, survivors include a daughter that meant the world to him, Danielle Nicole Romanoski of Effort, PA; grandmother, Marge Thellman of East Palestine, Ohio; aunts, Jean Thellman and Darlene Wiley; uncles, Ron (Ro) Thellman, Ed (Sue) Romanoski; and numerous cousins and good friends, especially Dwayne “Dewey” Mihalow, Bob Freed and Debbie Suders.
He was preceded in death by his father Darl on December 21, 2010; paternal grandparents, Ed and Gaynell Romanoski, maternal grandmother, Rebecca Thellman, maternal grandfather, Dan Thellman; and uncles, Chuck Wiley and Dan Thellman
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday February 19 from 4 pm until the time of the funeral service at 8 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home 341 Main Street Wampum.
