Karl E. Shoup Jr., 35, of Rt 168, New Galilee (New Beaver Boro) passed away Friday, March 10, 2017 at his residence following a lengthy illness.
Born July 30, 1981 in New Castle, he was the son of Karl E. Shoup Sr. of Ellwood City and Jean Ann Pallerino Shoup of New Castle.
Karl graduated from New Castle High School in 1999. He worked at various businesses in New Castle but most recently at Walmart in Cranberry Twp. He was Presbyterian by faith. Karl enjoyed boating. His most cherished time was spent with his children.
In addition to his parents, survivors include a daughter, Gracie Seybert of New Castle; a son, Beckam Shoup of Ellwood City; sister, Jodi Lynn (Kelly) Bartley of Germantown, Wisconsin; niece, Kaleigh Bartley; and nephew, Niklas Bartley.
Private services were held at the Marshall Funeral Home, Ellwood City. Interment followed in St. Lucy’s Cemetery in New Castle. Online condolences may be sent to marshallsfh.com.

My heart goes out to you and your family. Although I don’t know exactly what to say, I want you to know that I thought Karl was always a great guy and a good friend he was always nice to me which meant a lot. I have so many great memories of him.

It has been years since Karl and I had been in touch but I thougt of him frequently. He was a bright shining soul and I am sure the world is a lesser place with out him.
