Jordan T. Bobin, 17

Jordan T. Bobin, 17, of New Beaver Boro, Wampum passed away Monday, May 22, 2017 at the UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh. He died from injuries received after being struck by an automobile while bicycling.

Born June 14, 1999 in Ellwood City, he was the son of Jon M. and Cindy Wise Bobin.

Jordan was a Senior at Mohawk High School where he was a member of the National Honor Society and Spanish Club. He attended Edgewood Baptist Church. Jordan enjoyed camping, kayaking, and bicycling. He was selfless and always enjoyed helping people.

In addition to his parents, survivors include two brothers; his twin, Tyler J. and his younger brother, Brett S.; and grandparents, Blanche Bobin and Ben and Peggy Wise Main, all of New Beaver Boro.

He was preceded in death by grandfathers, Charles Bobin and Bruce Wise.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday May 25 from 2-4 and 6-9 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home 341 Main Street Wampum.  Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 11 am with Pastor Mike Coleman of the Edgewood Baptist Church officiating. Attendees are requested to meet at the Marshall Funeral Home before 10:30 am before proceeding to the Wampum Chapel on Clyde St. for the service. Interment will follow in Clinton Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or the donor’s favorite charity.

  2. Words cannot begin to express the deep sorrow and sadness that fills our hearts with the loss of Jordan. Anytime we were around those two their love of family and their pranks on Blanche always made us smile. Jordan is gone too soon…leaving beautiful memories of laughter, fun and accomplishments. I pray in His eternal mercy that God comforts your grief in knowing Jordan is in his heavenly home. Our prayers surround you all in your celebration of Jordan’s short but remarkable life. We will miss him?

  10. Losing a child is the most difficult thing in life. There are no words that can speak to the pain and loss . I am so sorry for your family and for those who loved Jordan. Please except my prayers and heartfelt condolences for I too lost a child (daughter) at age 23 years.and share the pain that only a parent could feel. Always remember we are lonely for them now, but rest assured we will be with them again one day in our heavenly home. This is not the end.

  29. Dear Jon. Cindy, Tyler, and Brett: My heart aches for your recent loss of your son Jordan. Although I had little contact with the twins, I immensely loved coaching Brett this season in basketball. Dad, I appreciated your support for Brett and the team. I am presently dealing with a illness and I will be unable to attend any the viewing or the funeral as I have should not be near others, especially small children or the elderly.
