Robert C. Beitsch, 65

Robert C. Beitsch, 65, of Clover Ave., Ellwood City passed away Sunday, May 28, 2017 at the VNA Hospice in Butler following a courageous battle with cancer.

Born December 1, 1951 in New Brighton, he was the son of the late Job C. Beitsch and Mildred Virginia Long. He was married for 46 years to Patty A. Gahagan Beitsch who survives.

Bob retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad after 42 years of service as a machinist. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, yard work, and riding his motorcycle. His most cherished time was spent with his family especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Patty, survivors include two daughters, Sandy Wright (Brian Salsberry) of Ellwood City, Crystal (Jason) Janis of Fombell; two sisters, Mary (Rob) Dyson of Chippewa, Eileen (Burt) Garmen of New Brighton; and three grandchildren, Natalie Wright, Robbie Janis, and Jacob Salsberry.

Per Bob’s request, there will be no services. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Marshall Funeral Home, Ellwood City.
