Sandra E. Myers, 75

Sandra E. Myers, 75, of Ellwood City passed away Monday, May 8, 2017 at the Heritage Valley – Beaver Hospital.

Born September 9, 1941 in Uniontown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Willard and Florence Dwyer Foster. She married Lloyd A Myers Sr. 56 years ago in the Brush Valley Brethren Church in Adrian, PA. He survives.

Sandra graduated from Shannock Valley High School in 1959 in Rural Valley, PA. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star # 212 where she served as Worthy Matron. She was also a member of the Women’s Club of Ellwood City and the Ellwood City Hospital Auxiliary. Sandra volunteered with the Meals on Wheels Program. She enjoyed summer boating in Kittanning and winters in Key West where she enjoyed playing mahjong. But her most cherished time was spent at home with family and friends.

In addition to her husband, Lloyd, survivors include six children, Terri and Shannon Delong, Lloyd A. Myers Jr. and Heidi Feltrop, Sherri Myers Greco, Susan Myers Holzer, Jason and Wendy Myers, Adam and Kelly Myers; 13 grandchildren, Heather, John, Mario, Giovanna and Nino Greco; Natalie and Erika Holzer; Jackson and Beck Myers; Morgan, Drake, Winston, and Emily Myers; and a great grandson, Maxton. She is also survived by a brother and sister in law, Gary and Paula Foster, and nephews and niece; Aaron, Josh, and Lindsay Shoup; and James and Ricci Foster.

She was preceded in death by siblings, Robert Foster, Karen Foster Shoup, Richard Foster and a niece, Jamie Foster.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday May 11, from 2-4 and 6-9 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City. An Eastern Star Service will be held. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 11 am with her pastor, Nathaniel Wilson of the Faith Fellowship Baptist Church in Ellport officiating. Interment will follow in the Kittanning Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Ellwood City Fire Department or the Order of the Eastern Star.
