Timothy D. Gorgas, 66, of Ellport passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at UPMC Passavant Cranberry Twp. following an apparent heart attack.
Born January 6, 1951 in New Castle, he was the son of the late John Adam and Helen Cello Gorgas. He was married for over 33 years to Pam Rossman Montozzi Gorgas, who survives.
Tim graduated from Lincoln High School in 1968 and continued his education at the University of Pittsburgh. He worked at the Ellwood City Forge for 33 years in the sales department. He enjoyed playing golf and pool. He also enjoyed cooking, grilling, gardening and listening to music. His most cherished time was spent with family.
In addition to his wife, Pam, survivors include a son, Adam (Rayya Rashid) Gorgas of Seven Fields; step son, Erik Montozzi of New Castle; brother, Chris Gorgas of Slippery Rock; sister in law, Jackee Gorgas of Fort Myers, Florida; and a granddaughter, Jada Montozzi.
He was preceded in death by parents and a brother, Jack Gorgas.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday June 23 from 4-8 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 11 am with Rev. Sean Brubaker of the Calvin Presbyterian Church officiating.
