Marilyn J. Wiltrout, 83

Marilyn J. Wiltrout, 83, of Perry Twp. Ellwood City passed away Monday, December 25, 2017 at her residence following a brief illness.

Born September 15, 1934 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late James Ervil and Martha VanGorder McDevitt.

Marilyn graduated from Lincoln High School in 1952. She was active with the Wurtemburg Perry Ladies Fire Department Auxiliary and also worked on the Perry Township Election Board. She was a member of the Wurtemburg Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include two sons, Warren “Willy” (Cathy) Wiltrout of Glenshaw, Andy (Carey Swidorsky) Wiltrout of Prospect; brother, Larry McDevitt of Perry Twp.; six grandchildren, David, Cody, Mickey, Brian, Chelsey, and Chris Wiltrout; and two great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Geri Helling and Carole McDevitt; and two brothers, Don and Tom McDevitt, and her former husband, James E. Wiltrout.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday December 29, from 3 until the time of the funeral service at 6 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City. Private interment will take place at Locust Grove Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Wurtemburg Presbyterian Church or the Wurtemburg Fire Department.
