Theresa Rocco DeLoia born August 10, 1922 passed away peacefully May 10, 2018 at the DuBois Nursing Home surrounded by her family.
Theresa was retired from Ellwood City Hospital where she worked in food service for over 30 years.
For 67 years she was the beloved wife of the late Paul “Arch” DeLoia. Mrs. DeLoia was a member of the Holy Redeemer Church in Ellwood City.
Theresa enjoyed baking and cooking for her family and friends, the Gameshow Network, Bingo, and Dancing at Sons of Italy.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Anthony DeLoia (Karen) of DuBois, Paul DeLoia (Vicki) of Harrisburg and three daughters and one son-in-law. Mary Ann (Ralph) DiVecchio of North Huntingdon, Sue Wilson of Orlando, FL, Kathy Gibney of Rockville, Maryland.
She had 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation is 2-4pm and 7-9pm on Monday, May 14, at the Marshall Funeral Home in Ellwood City, PA. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am, Tuesday at Holy Redeemer Church in Ellwood City.
In Lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105.

She is survived by her 5 sisters, Rose Venditti, Edith Pacella, Genevieve Grant, Elvira Masters, Martha Boschini and 2 brothers, Nicholas and Anthony Rocco, Preceding her in death were 2 brothers, Carlos and Val Rocco.

I was so very sorry to read this obituary. Theresa was a lovely person and a very good wife to Paul. I remember her at the Fagnilli picnics with Josephine and Paul. I extend my sympathy to all of her children, grandchildren, and all her brothers and sisters, and all of her family. She will be sadly missed.
