Thomas L. Lash, 78, of Ellwood City, North Sewickley twp. passed away unexpectedly Sunday, August 4, 2019 at the Heritage Valley Beaver Hospital.
Born October 2, 1940 in Ellwood City, PA, he was the son of the late Kenneth S. and Virginia L. Linville Lash. He was married to Patty Deemer Lash for 34 years, she survives.
Tom was a graduate of Lincoln High School class of 1960. He worked at the B & W/Koppel Steel for 54 years. Tom belonged to the Park Gate Baptist Church. He also held memberships at the Masonic Lodge #599 Ellwood City, the New Castle Consistory, Syria Shrine, the Ellwood City Moose Lodge #93, and the Ellwood City Saxons Club Branch #45. Tom enjoyed gardening, hunting and fishing, and spending time with his dog, Roxie.
Besides his wife Patty, survivors include son, Ken (Tammy) Lash of Wampum; two daughters, Sheri (Jim) Eldredge and Stephanie Settle of Ellwood City; Five grandchildren, KC and Chelsey Lash, Jadelyn Horter, Garrett Eldredge, and Kaylee Palombi; and two great-grandchildren, twins Tyler and Trevor McFadden.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday August 7, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm and on Thursday, August 8, from 12:00 pm until the time of the Funeral Service at 1:00 pm, with their friend, Pastor Gary Gibson officiating at the Marshall Funeral Home, 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City.
Masonic Services will be held Wednesday, at 7:00 pm.
Interment will follow in the North Sewickley Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the donors’ favorite charity.
