Mary Lou McCullough, 88

Mary Lou McCullough, 88, of New Galilee passed away Sunday, January 3, 2021 at Avalon Place in New Castle following a lengthy illness.

Born November 19, 1932 in Fort Wayne, IN, she was the daughter of the late Marion E. and Maude I. Allis Streett. She was married to William Paul McCullough who passed on November 20, 1993.

A homemaker, Mary Lou helped on the family farm. She was an active member of the Wampum Presbyterian Church where she served as a former Deacon and also on various committees. She was a member of the Big Beaver and Pomona Grange, and also the Pennsylvania Farmers Association.

Survivors include five daughters, Cindy (John) Keith of Entriken, PA, Marcia (James) Farone, Donna Myers, Melanie (Robert) Bauder all of New Galilee, and Janet (Clifford) Wallace of Enon Valley; thirteen grandchildren, and eighteen great grandchildren with two more on the way.

The last of her family, she was preceded in death by her parents, husband William, a brother, George A. McCullough and son-in-law Alan R. Myers.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic a private funeral service for the family will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021 with her Pastor, Rev. Elizabeth Wallace officiating.

Interment will follow in Union Reformed Presbyterian Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Wampum Presbyterian Church.
