Paul F. “Fred” Kosior, 84, of Chewton passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Hospital following a short illness.
Born July 20, 1936 in Chewton, he was the son of the late Edward and Sophie Modliszewski Kosior.
He worked as a diesel mechanic for Russell Trucking for over 30 years. Fred was a member of the former St. Monica’s in Wampum and a current member of Holy Redeemer. He was a member and past president of the Chewton P.N.A. Fred was involved with the Kosior Brother Race Team.
Survivors include many loving nieces and nephews and their families.
The last of his family, Fred was preceded in death by nine brothers; Richard, Robert, Bernard, Tom, David, John, Ted, Edward “Don”, and Charles “Chuck” Kosior; and two sisters, Marcie Schlusser and one in infancy.
A private blessing service will be held Saturday January 16, 2021 at the Marshall Funeral Home, Wampum, with the Reverend Father Mark Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery.

So sad to hear of Fred’s passing. I have fond memories of days in Chewton as a kid when he would come over to the Pezzi’s and visit when my dad would bring us down from Wurtemberg. Rest in peace, Fred.

A wonderful man. Pleasant and kind to all. Never had a bad word about anyone. One time he took me to emergency hospital when I needed to go. Thanks for being a friend of mine. Rest in God’s hands.
