Thomas L. Poholsky, 75, of Ellwood City passed away Thursday, January 14, 2021 at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Butler.
Born April 28, 1945 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Albert W. and Joan M. Lloyd Poholsky.
Thomas was a graduate of Lincoln High School and also attended Penn State University. He was a Navy Veteran, serving on the USS Hollister in the Subic Bay during the Vietnam War. He was an employee at the B&W for many years. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, camping and fishing at Kennerdell, and Lake Chautauqua. Thomas enjoyed spending time with his many friends in Kennerdell and the Hungarian Home in Ellwood City.
Survivors include his significant other, Marilyn Winfrey, sister, Graceann Snyder of Ellwood City; niece, Melissa Snyder (Pete) Leck; and nephew, Chad (Marissa) Snyder.
He was preceded in death by his father, Albert in January 2018; his mother, Joan in November 2020; and by his brother in law, George Snyder in February 2020.
Funeral services will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Marshall Funeral Home, Ellwood City.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Ellwood City Public Library or the Ellwood City Food Bank.
