Teri Beeler Plassmeyer, 61

Teri Beeler Plassmeyer, 61, of Ellwood City passed away June 29, 2021 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Teri has continued her kindness through the gift of life by becoming an organ donor.

Born September 5, 1959 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late David McKim and the late Z. Ann Cook McKim who passed away in 2017.

Teri had formerly worked at Beatrice Foods in Ellwood and most recently at Aldo’s Foods in Hopewell. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan. Teri enjoyed going for Harley rides with Ron especially to the wineries. Her most cherished time was spent with her grandchildren; watching Emma play softball, Brodi race dirt bikes, and quality time with Kallen and Olivia. She also loved going to their camp in Dubois.

Survivors include her husband of 33 years, Ron Plassmeyer, three children, Amanda (Mark) Beachem, Kodi Plassmeyer, and Dylan (partner, Kay Cumberledge) Plassmeyer, all of Ellwood City; special son, Justin Gatto of Ontario, Canada; three sisters, Cathy (Bill) Krestel of St. Louis, Missouri, Peri (Robert) Malcolm of Ellwood City, Lori (John) Steffler of Wampum; brother, David (Tammy) McKim of Ellwood City; and four grandchildren, Emma and Brodi Beachem and Kallen and Olivia Plassmeyer.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Eugene “Beanie” McKim.

Visiting hours will be held Thursday July 1 from 2 pm until the time of the funeral service at 7 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City. Pastor Dennis Arndt of Lillyville Church of God will officiate.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.

  5. I wish i had some profound words of wisdom to ease your pain at this time. I have had the pleasure of knowing Teri and her siblings most of thier lives. Spent many nights babysitting them , especially on New Years Eve when Dave and Annie would go out ( thank you David for telling me where the booze was stashed LOL). I pray that you can find comfort in the fact that she is now happy and healthy in Heaven with her loved ones. My deepest sympathies
