Robert J. Cosgrove, 57

Robert J. Cosgrove, 57, of Enon Valley passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 30, 2021.

Born June 8, 1964 in New Castle, he was the “perfect” son of the late James and Arlene P. Reichert Cosgrove.

Rob was a lifelong farmer. He was a current member of Bethel Church where he served on the Board of Trustees. He was affectionately known as the “Corn Fairy” because he delivered sweet corn to everyone. Rob was a kind man and his most cherished moments were spent with his family.

Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Stacy Hawke Cosgrove; three daughters, Michelle (Travis) Dietz of Center Township, Maggie Rose (Aaron Hall) Cosgrove of Philadelphia, Marissa Ann Cosgrove of Enon Valley; son, Brian Samuel Cosgrove of Enon Valley; grandson, Maddox Dietz; three sisters, Bonnie (Larry) Claypoole of Jackson Center, Beverly (Richard) VanAmerongen of Nashville, TN, and Donna (James) Richards of Ft. Wayne, IN; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, August 2 from 2-8 pm and on Tuesday, August 3 from 10 am until the time of the funeral service at 11 am at the Marshall Funeral Home, Wampum. Pastor Chris Morgan will officiate.

Interment will follow in Bethel Church Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Bethel Church Building Fund.
