Helen June Bailey, 84, of Ellwood City passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at Good Samaritan Hospice in Beaver following a lengthy illness.
Born June 7, 1937 in New Brighton, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Alice Barnes Wolfe. She was married to Donald E. Bailey Sr. when he passed on March 10, 2008.
Helen was first employed by the Providence Hospital and then by the Beaver Valley Medical Center where she ended her 24 years of service as a nurses aide. She was a member of the Living Manna Family Church in Darlington. Helen loved doing word search and working. Her most cherished moments were spent with family.
Survivors include two daughters, Judy (Don) Jackson of Georgia and Joanne (Jeff) Young of Darlington; two sons, Donald of Ellwood City and Rob Bailey of Beaver Falls, and many grand, great grand, and great great grandchildren.
The last of her family, she was preceded in death by two sons Kenny in 1979 and Charles Bailey in 2016, parents, husband, five sisters, and a brother.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Living Manna Family Church, 1384 Shenango Rd. Darlington PA, on Saturday January 8, 2022 at 1:00 pm. Her daughter Pastor Judy Bailey Jackson will officiate.
