Donna L. Kobbe, 75

Donna L. Kobbe, 75, of Castlewood passed away Thursday, February 10, 2022 at her residence, surrounded by her family.

Born January 28, 1947 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Irene Stewart Henry. She was married to Fred Kobbe.

Donna was a graduate of Shenango High School. She worked as a dispatcher for Noga’s Ambulance Service for 15 years. She was very crafty and loved designing floral arrangements. She enjoyed the outdoors and camping. She loved shooting and was an excellent marksman. Most of all, she loved her dogs, family, and friends.

Survivors include her husband Fred of 53 years; two sons, Michael (Mary) Kobbe of New Wilmington and Christopher Kobbe of New Castle; daughter, Rhiannon (Jeremy) Schnell of Ellwood City; brother in law, Albert Leo of Ellport; five grandchildren, McKenzie, Victoria, Noelle, Gabrielle, and Alex, and a special cousin Scott Stewart.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Wes Henry, and her sisters in law Gloria Henry and Tootie Leo.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday February 13, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home, 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City.

Funeral Services will be held at the Funeral Home, on February 14, 2022 at 11:00 am.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Humane Society.

  2. Donna has always been a part of my life. She was always there to help with anything you needed and would let you know when you needed her and did not want to impose. She was not just a lifetime friend…She was family! I will miss you dearly. Mike, Coot & Rhiannon…you had a relationship with your mother that was amazing! Remember all of the wisdom from your memories. Fred you and Donna had a GREAT life together…each will continue to be with you each and every step of the way. Love you guys.
