Charles H. “Chuck” Ritter, 85, of Franklin Twp., Ellwood City passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at his residence.
Born July 30, 1937 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Harry and Evelyn Kobbee Ritter.
Chuck graduated from Lincoln High School in 1955 and retired from BNZ Inc. in Zelienople after 35 years. He was affiliated with Lillyville Church of God. Chuck enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, trapping,and fishing. He also enjoyed bowling and softball.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Brenda Marburger Ritter; two sons, Joseph and Harry Ritter, both of Fombell; two daughters, Sherry Ritter of Franklin Twp., Michele Herzog of Ellwood City; two sisters, Ramona Bubb of Ellport, Juanita Rocco of Florida; and eight grandchildren, Tyler Engle, Austin Herzog, Corey, Dakota, Cheyenne, Landon and Trevor Ritter and Logan Plutnicki.
Chuck was preceded in death by two sons, Charles Ritter Jr and Craig McDowell; sister, Sue Koch; and brother, Carson Ritter.
A Celebration of Chuck’s life will be held at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Marshall Funeral Home, Ellwood City.
