Kathy Watterson Sapp, 68

Kathy Watterson Sapp, 68, of Ellwood City passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2023 following a courageous battle with cancer.

Born July 8, 1954 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Audrey Glitch Watterson. She was married to Jack Sapp on October 24, 1986.

Kathy had graduated from Lincoln High School. Following high school, she worked at Romar Textile and the Ellwood Knitting Mill. She was a current member of the Lighthouse Assembly of God in Ellwood City. Kathy was a Steelers fan, enjoyed painting, and going camping.

Survivors include her husband, Jack; son, Roy Joseph Champion of Connecticut where he’s serving in the Navy; sister, Florence “Flo” (Jay) Wiley of Ellport and brother, Charles (Lori) Watterson of Chewton.

Memorial Services will be held at the Lighthouse Assembly of God, Ellwood City on June 3, 2023 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Travis Richendrfer officiating.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Lighthouse Assembly of God, 527 North St. Ellwood City, 16117.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Marshall Funeral Home, Ellwood City.

Jack, and family, please accept my heartfelt sympathy in the loss of your dear wife Kathy, she was a wonderful person Jack, I know there are no words that may ease your mind and heart right now, but know others care and though many years have passed since seeing her and you, I will always remember all the kindness from both of you towards me. May you find comfort in the memories you shared with Kathy. My sympathy to her sister Flo (Kathy’s strong supporter and best friend ), her brother Charles, and her Son Roy, and her many friends. Eternal rest grant unto Kathy oh Lord, and let the perpetual light shine upon her, may she rest in peace.
