Elizabeth M. Petro

Elizabeth M. Petro, 98, formerly of Wampum passed away Sunday, January 12, 2020 at Northview Estates following an extended illness.

Born April 29, 1921 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late John A. Aniceti and Camille Peltier Aniceti . She was married to the late William Petro. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Gina J. Ferrucci and two brothers, Andrew and Alfred Aniceti.

Elizabeth was a member and sang in the choir at the former St. Monica Church in Wampum. She currently is a member of Holy Redeemer Church and their Christian Mothers.

Survivors include a son, John J. Petro, and several nieces and nephews and their families.

Visiting hours will be held at the Marshall Funeral Home, Ellwood City on Saturday January 18 from 9 am until time of departure for a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Redeemer Church at 11 am. Interment will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Redeemer Social Services. The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Northview Estates for the kindness and compassion shown to Elizabeth.
