Alyce A. Lutz

Alyce A. "Sis" Lutz, 86, of Wampum (New Beaver Boro) passed away Saturday, November 9, 2024 at UPMC - Jameson Hospital following a lengthy illness.

Born September 2, 1938 in Wampum, she was the daughter of the late John L. and Alyce P. Allen Cory . She was married to Robert E. Lutz for 52 years when he passed away on June 25, 2009.

Sis graduated from Wampum High School. She was a charter member and an active member of the New Beaver VFD Auxiliary. An avid Pirates and Steelers fan, she also enjoyed doing crosswords and reading.

Survivors include two daughters, Debra A. (Arnold) Irwin of New Castle and Cheryl L. (Michael) Giardina of Wampum; son, Robert E. Lutz, Jr. of Wampum; granddaughter, Autumn Giardina of Wampum; grandson, Travis Giardina of Austin, TX; one great-granddaughter due in April; sister, Helen M. (Ronald) Ferrucci of Scotts, MI; and one sister-in-law, Donna Cory of Austin, AR; and her lifelong friends, Martha Curry, Evelyn Swogger, and Linda Mariacher.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, John Jr., Harry, and David Cory.

A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
