Ann Vitril

Ann Vitril, 86, formerly of Vitril Lane, Wampum died on Monday, September 30, 2013 at the Ellwood City Hospital following a short illness.

Born August 8, 1927 in Wampum, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Ethel Guy Davis. She was married for 52 years to Harry E. Vitril who passed away January 11, 2009.

Ann was a lifelong active member of the Wampum United Methodist Church having taught Sunday School for over 50 years. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and entertaining.

Survivors include a sister, Jane (Don) Kwolek of Canfield, Ohio; 24 nieces and nephews; 58 great nieces and nephews; 95 great great nieces and nephews; and 7 great great great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by sister, Olive Huffman, and four brothers; Guy, Glenn, Harry and Wayne Davis.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday October 3 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home 341 Main Street Wampum.

Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 11:00 am with Rev. Dr. William R. McGary of the Wampum Presbyterian Church officiating.

Interment will follow in Clinton Cemetery.
