Anna Jean Holsinger, 28, of New Castle (Neshannock Twp.) went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 16, 2017.
She was born October 24, 1988 in Ellwood City. Anna worked at various restaurants in the area. She graduated from Slippery Rock High School in 2008 where she played on the volleyball and fast pitch softball teams. She was a member of Word Alive Church. Anna enjoyed playing corn hole and dancing. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially walks at Moraine State Park, mushroom hunting, fishing, and camping. She enjoyed life to the fullest. She will be remembered for her loving and kind soul.
Survivors include her mother, Glenda Holsinger of New Castle, father and step mother, Michael (Stacy) Harper of Ellwood City; son, Carson Errol Holsinger; four sisters, Tiffany (Gary) Zarilla, Kayla (Derek Harnish) Lutz, Erica Buchta, Samantha Haswell; one brother, Billy (Laura) Haswell; her grandmother, Jean McAnallen; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Her extended family included Harold Jr, Amanda, Ashley and Tessa Buchta.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather with whom she shared a birthday, Errol Holsinger, grandparents, Dave and Carol McKim, and an uncle Shawn Harper.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday January 20 from 2 until the time of the funeral service at 7 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City. Pastor Sam Fidell of the Living Manna Foursquare Church will officiate the services.
