Barbara R. Grinnen Miller

Barbara R. Grinnen Miller, 74, of Wampum passed away Monday, January 12, 2015 at the Golden Hill Nursing Center following an extended illness.

Born August 27, 1940 in Windber, PA, she was the daughter of the late Peter Paul and Minnie Theresa Grieco Lasko. She was first married to John H. Grinnen who passed away October 30, 1971 and then to John T. “Yanko” Miller who passed away May 18, 2011.

Barb graduated from Lincoln High School in 1958. She was affiliated with the Wampum Methodist Church. Barb was an avid bowler and Pittsburgh sports fan. She enjoyed playing bingo. Her favorite past time was attending her grandchildren’s sports and activities.

Survivors include a daughter, Kim (Tom) Nulph, and a son, Ron Grinnen, both of Wampum; five grandchildren, Cherie Norge, Mikki Zeh, Tom Nulph, John Grinnen, and Amie Grinnen; seven great grandchildren; and two brothers, Peter P. Lasko Jr. of New Beaver Boro, Richard (Janet) Lasko of New Castle.

Visiting hours will be held Thursday January 15 from 4 pm until the time of the funeral service at 7 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home 341 Main Street Wampum. Rev. Mike Wimer will officiate.

Interment will follow in Clinton Cemetery.
