Barry R. Boots

Barry R. Boots, 57, of Stiefel Ave., Ellwood City (Franklin Twp.) died at home on Monday, April 7, 2014 after a long courageous battle with cancer. He had formerly live in Tampa Florida for 19 years.

Born May 11, 1956 in Ellwood City, he was the son of Harry L. and Ruth Ann McKeough Boots of Ellwood City. He was married on October 18, 1975 to Elizabeth “Beth” Peeples Boots who survives.

Barry loved his family and friends and the good times he had with them. He had a passion for Jeep Restoration, Drag Racing, and Muscle Cars. He enjoyed his extensive music collection throughout the years.

In addition to his parents and wife, Beth, survivors include a daughter, Sandy L Boots of Fort Myers, Florida; sister, Kimberly (Leonard) Ripper of Ellwood City; three brothers, Michael (Kathy) Boots of New Castle, Todd Boots and Eric (Tina) Boots, both of Ellwood City; two grandchildren, Zachary D. Griffith and Hayleigh E. Robinson, both of Ellwood City. He is also survived by his in laws, David and Lois Peeples of Fombell, a sister in law, Virginia A. Peeples of San Rafael, CA,and two brother in laws, Mark D. Peeples of Albany, GA, and Jeff C. Peeples of Dameron, MD.

He was preceded in death by a son, Bradley E. Scheidemantle in March of 1994.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday April 10 from 4 until the time of the funeral service 8 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City. Elder Peter Hess of the First Baptist Church of Zelienople will officiate.
