Carol Bash, 80, of Portersville passed away Thursday, January 25, 2024 at the Butler Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.
Born October 7, 1943 in Beaver Falls, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Marjorie Suders. She was married to Donald E. Bash for 45 years when he passed away on October 30, 2012.
Carol worked for 30 years at Montgomery Ward in Beaver Falls and then for 25 years at Airway Luggage until their closing. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She was a devout Christian who enjoyed reading her Bible daily. She loved to sing, badly but enthusiastically. She also enjoyed playing on her tablet and collecting gnomes. Carol’s most cherished time was spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include two children, Deborah Welch and Bryon (Juanita) Bash, all of Portersville; niece, Tawnia (Mitch) Harpold of Beaver Falls; nephew, Andy Suders of South Carolina;six grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sons, Jeff Lloyd, Chris Lloyd, and Joel Bash, daughter, Diane Belcoski, and a brother Herbert Suders.
Graveside service will be held at Clinton Cemetery on Monday at 2 pm.
