Christopher Milnes

Christopher D. Milnes, 40, of River Rd., Beaver Falls (North Sewickley Twp.) died Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at Heritage Valley Hospital following a brief illness.

Born February 20, 1975 in Ellwood City, he was the son of Daniel H. and Shirley Ann Zak Milnes of North Sewickley Twp.

Christopher graduated from New Horizon School in 1996. While attending New Horizon, Christopher was a member of the swimming and soccer teams. He also enjoyed participating in their plays. He was formerly employed at the Beaver County Rehabilitation Center in New Brighton and was affiliated with Holy Redeemer Parish in Ellwood City. Christopher enjoyed bowling, fishing, listening to music, and watching movies.

In addition to his parents, survivors include his grandmother, Lois Jean Milnes of Ellwood City and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert D. Milnes on February 21, 2013, grandparents, James V. Milnes and Theodore J. and Shirley M. Zak, and an aunt, Joan Graham.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, August 7 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home 341 Main Street Wampum. A Blessing Service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 1pm. Interment will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
