Cornelia J. Salak

Cornelia J. Salak, 94, of New Castle passed away Friday, January 8, 2021 at UPMC Jameson Hospital.

Born January 24, 1926 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Sarah Crawford Allen. She was married to John J. Salak. He passed on August 14, 1994.

Cornelia was a current member of the Moravia Presbyterian Church. She cherished time spent with her family, especially her grand and great granchildren.

Survivors include two sons, Thomas J Salak with whom she resided, Michael (LuAnne) Salak of New Castle; daughter, Donna J. Salak of New Castle; three grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother Donald Crawford, who passed during WWII, and a sister Martha Stelter.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, funeral services will be private.

Interment will follow in Oak Park Cemetery.
