Dann S. Zelic, 85, of Chewton passed away Friday, February 7, 2025 at Butler Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.
Born November 21, 1939 in Wheeling, WV, he was the son of the late Mike and Eileen Hickman Zelic. He was married to Mary G. Jacquin Zelic.
Dann first worked at Mike's Bait Shop in Portersville, then B&W, and then he owned and operated Zelic's Sewage and Drain. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing and in his younger years hunting. A kindhearted man, he enjoyed helping people.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years Mary; son, Dan (Lori) Zelic of New Mexico; daughter, Dana (Mark) Cirelli of Ellwood City, and stepdaughter, Lorrie (Fred) Hess of New Castle; four grandchildren, one step-granddaughter, and two step-grandsons; two great-grandchildren, and nine step-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Sharon and Patty.
A private funeral service was held at the Marshall Funeral Home, Wampum. Pastor Tom Litzenberg of the Chewton Christian Church conducted the service.
Interment followed in Savannah Cemetery.
