David J. Boydell

David J. Boydell, 56, of Ellwood City passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 23, 2017 at the Heritage Valley Beaver Hospital.

He was born August 10, 1961 in Ellwood City. Dave graduated from Vo-Tech in 1979. He worked for 26 years as a millwright at BNZ Materials in Zelienople. Dave enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He also enjoyed time spent with family and friends. Dave was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan, especially the Steelers.

Survivors include his father and stepmother, John D.(Barbara Hall) Boydell of Ellwood City; his wife, Jennifer Boydell; three sons, Josh (Krista) Boydell of Ellwood City, Shayne (Pete Finegan) Boydell of Allison Park, Matt (Kayla) Zion of Neshannock Twp; his mother-in-law, Lou Ellen Gillett of Finley, OH; sister, Donna (Tom) Hull of Canonsburg; brother, Robert V. Boydell of Beverly Hills, FL; and a grandson, Camren Boydell.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Veronica Dobranski Boydell and his father in law, Robert Gillett.

A Celebration of Dave’s life will be held on Friday, October 27th from 3 to 6pm at the Sons of Italy Hall in Ellwood City.
